My Favorite Zombie Products

So what exactly constitutes a “Zombie Product?” It can vary from person to person. Some people might be thinking about survival kits and bunkers filled with years of food. Not this girl! I tend to lean towards sentient zombies like the ones portrayed on the CW’s popular and amazing show, iZombie, or the ones in the novel “Raising Stony Mayhall” by Daryl Gregory.

Note: I have not been asked to review any of these items and I don’t get any kickback at all from this. These are strictly products I enjoy and my own opinions.

I am a bit obsessed with zombies and I love to mix my interests into my everyday style. I want people to look at me and be like “Could she be one of the walking dead?” So here are some awesome products I use to show my insane love of the undead (in no particular order.)

Behold, the Zom-verse! These are one of my biggest shopping regrets. Sadly, I do not own these. I own tons and tons of Converse sneakers, but there are a few amazing pairs that I missed out on and these are number one. I obsessively scroll through Poshmark just searching for these in a women’s 9. So far, a soul crushing 8 is the closest I’ve come. I don’t intend trying to stop anytime soon and hopefully one day, I can sport these epic sneaks.

This is one of the coolest necklaces ever! I have a metal allergy so I can actually wear this since it’s on leather cord. These 2 super cool mugs are from a neat online shop called “Wake the Dead Scrubs.” The lovely shop owner makes her own body care products with a fun horror theme. She definitely has an affinity for zombies and I can totally respect that. If you’re like me and are rarely seen without some sort of drink in your hand (usually water or coffee in my case), these cups are a spook-tacular way to show your zombie pride. A cup goes with everything!

I am not usually one to go for loose pigments, so this was stretch for me but I am so glad I branched out! I can’t wait to try more from the Concrete Minerals brand. This color collection is everything I think of when I think of my sentient zombies. The green and purple make me think of “Beetlejuice” and the pinky- mauves make me think “iZombie” all the way. I use this to create fun and spooky looks for everyday. Sadly, this collection is no longer available from the website, but a few of the shades are up for individual sale and they also have many other spooky options for undead dollfaces. This is a photo of me ready for work last Monday. Okay so I’m not quite that hardcore. This is actually a picture of me taken in October 2018, ready for a Halloween event. But see that hat? I actually did wear that to work last Monday. It’s my favorite hat in my beanie hat collection. I wish I could give you a link to where you can buy this hat, but sadly, you can only buy it from a Zombie Burger restaurant. If you haven’t heard of Zombie Burger, prepare to have your mind blown. They are an amazingly thought out Zombie themed restaurant that serves some pretty inventive zombie themed burgers and shakes. There are several Zombie Burger locations, but they are only in Iowa. I live fairly far away from them, but they are worth the drive! Sometime, I’ll have to do a post about my Zombie Burger merchandise. I seem to buy a shirt every time I make the voyage there, but this hat is my #1. It’s a lot more acceptable to wear the same hat everyday than it is to wear the same 3 shirts!

And lastly, my zombie hair accessories. My hair is finally getting long enough to braid and put in pigtails again so it’s fun to pull these out and enjoy them once again. Somewhere floating around my room is a second zombie hand bow, but unfortunately, I didn’t find it in time for this little photo shoot. I purchased the bloody zombie hand at a Wal-Mart around Halloween time and I think I got the skeleton hands there too. I’ve had them so long I don’t remember. If you’re looking for skeleton hand hair clips at any other time than October, I recommend the Hot Topic website- plus you might find other zombie products I don’t even know about yet!
