I try a lot of different coffee drinks and I have a lot of fun thinking them up, making them up, and drinking them up, but like most of us, I have a trusty standby.

Admittedly, my morning coffee is usually an unglamorous affair. I adore my Ninja Coffee Bar System and I’m so thankful it makes good coffee because I get it ready the night before and I set it to brew when my alarm goes off. I wake up to brewed coffee and add in my local honey for allergies. One could say my morning coffee is medicinal, not recreational.

By afternoon, I’m usually ready to switch to iced. I have two quirks when it comes to iced coffee: quirk 1 is I usually don’t like waking up with iced coffee- it’s an afternoon only thing. Quirk 2 is I hardly ever drink iced coffee black. I don’t care how good it is, it has to be sweet and creamy.
While I love the recipe I shared for Vietnamese Iced Coffee in a Chemex, I am in too much of a hurry for that many afternoons, so I decided to work on an easier, much quicker iced coffee recipe to grab and go. I’ve been hooked on this new method and I got my non- coffee drinking boyfriend hooked too!

Unlike most of my recipes, I don’t even blend this. I just put my cold brew, condensed milk, sweetener, and ice in a cup with a lid and I shake it until it’s all combined. Then, I pour it in my favorite to go cup and I’m on my way.
I have truly become addicted to Grady’s Cold Brew pitcher packs. They make home cold brewing incredibly easy and the flavor is so smooth and sweet that I can’t find any other cold brew that quite compares. The sweet creaminess of the condensed milk only adds to the smooth, natural chocolate flavor. As easy as this is, it feels like a treat everyday. I have to pace myself when I drink it- it’s truly that good!

I have some other ideas for cold brewing in the future, but so far, this drink is my number one. If you haven’t tried Grady’s Cold brew, or even condensed milk as creamer, do yourself a favor and switch up your next cup!

Easy Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 12oz. cold brewed coffee (Grady’s is my personal preference)
- 2 T. sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2c. ice
- sweetener to taste, if desired (one pack is great for me)
Put all the ingredients in a large cup or shaker with a lid. Shake until the condensed milk is fully incorporated into the coffee and it looks deliciously creamy. Pour into your favorite cup or tumbler and prepare to be amazed!
